Data Analysis with Python
Turn messy spreadsheets into clear answers. Learn Python, charts and statistics on real datasets from retail, health and finance.
Course overview
Most people who work with data were never taught how to work with data. This course fixes that. You start with spreadsheets you already understand, then learn Python to automate the boring parts and to answer questions spreadsheets cannot.
We use real datasets with real problems, missing values included. You will learn to clean, explore, visualize and communicate findings. The final project asks you to answer one genuine business question from start to finish.
You do not need a math background. Every statistical idea is introduced with a picture and an example before any formula appears.
What you will be able to do
- Clean messy data without losing your weekend
- Analyze data with Python and pandas
- Build charts that explain rather than decorate
- Understand averages, spread and sampling honestly
- Present findings so decision makers act on them
Curriculum
40 lessons spread over 10 weeks. Every module ends with a small project and honest feedback.
