Graphic Design Fundamentals
Learn to make things look right and mean something. Layout, type, color and client thinking, taught through briefs that mirror real agency work.
Course overview
Good design is a set of decisions you can learn, not a gift you were born with. This course teaches those decisions one at a time, starting with layout and typography, then moving into color, branding and presentation skills.
You will work the way a junior designer works in a studio. Each week brings a short brief with a deadline, feedback from your instructor, and one round of revisions. That loop is where the real learning happens.
No design background is required. You will need a laptop with a free design tool installed; we will help you set that up in the first session.
What you will be able to do
- Compose layouts that guide the eye naturally
- Choose and pair typefaces with confidence
- Build a simple color system for any brand
- Design logos, flyers and social kits from a brief
- Present your work and take criticism without fear
Curriculum
32 lessons spread over 8 weeks. Every module ends with a small project and honest feedback.
