Digital Photography Workshop

Four weeks to leave automatic mode behind. Walks, critiques and light tricks that make photos look intentional instead of lucky.

Course overview

This short workshop is built around doing. Each week has one classroom session on light, exposure or composition, and one outdoor walk where you practice while the instructor circles and coaches.

You will learn how your camera actually thinks, why photos look flat, and the small habits that fix most pictures. Reviews happen together, in a friendly room, with everyone's work on screen.

Any camera with manual controls works, including most mirrorless and DSLR bodies. A phone with a pro mode is fine to start; bring what you have and we will advise you before you buy anything.

What you will be able to do

  • Use aperture, shutter and ISO together on purpose
  • Find and use good light anywhere
  • Compose photos that feel deliberate
  • Edit simply without overdoing it
  • Build a small, honest portfolio

Curriculum

16 lessons spread over 4 weeks. Every module ends with a small project and honest feedback.
